Open Houses in Metro StL on the ides of March
Beware the ides of March seemed to have more significance when I was younger. I don’t think we hear it that much anymore. Even though it is tied to the assassination of Julius Ceasar it also came to signify the emergence of the Roman Empire in 44 B.C.
If you haven’t celebrated St Patty’s Day too much, visiting some of these open houses could be an interesting diversion from March Madness. Listed below are open houses in the central corridor of metro StL for March 14 through March 17, 2015. To customize your own open house search, click on one of the homes below, select “new search on the top bar, and add a zip code or city, address or subdivision of your choice. (Please note that the listings are not retrievable after the open house date has passed.)[wnt_grid keyid=”1″ title=”Open Houses on the Ides of March” maptype=”disabled” ownertype=”all” paginated=”true” sortoptions=”true” maxresults=”6″ search_mode=”form” primarysearchtype=”open” searchtype=”zip” state=”MO” date_from=”03/14/2015″ date_to=”03/21/2015″ min_price=”0″ max_price=”1000000000″ zip_code=”63108,63112,63103,63104,63101,63110,63139,63143,63117,63144,63119,63122,63124,63132,63105,63130,63119,63131,63141″ /]
7245-7249 ARSENAL STREET, ST LOUIS MO 63143 OFFERED AT $190000
When you drive up you feel like you’ve arrived at an old farmhouse in Maine. The home was built in the late 1800’s and still has most of its charm intact. Most of the windows still have the handblown glass. There is a little country gate leading to the front porch and a gravel driveway leading onto the property. The workshop is 30×30 and wonderful for furniture makers, automobile enthusiasts or anybody who has a hobby that doesn’t quite fit in the house. The yard could be wonderful for a gardener, having an old fashioned garden party or game of croquet. For additional information about this property, click here.
